Vulnerable and falling through the void of space, these horses plunge through their own existence. They are translucent and vacant while they are thrusted on an emotional plunge through memory and time. The horse ghosts struggle, deny, rest, avoid, give up, and ultimately accept the inconsistency of expectance and the inevitability of change in life.  After a family loss, the horse became a vulnerable symbol of my emotions. The ground had vanished and what was true was questioned. The horses eventually reclaim their strength, shed old ideals, and attain the ability to evolve and make peace with new definitions of family, self, and truth.
